The Developmental Paragraphs

How to write the developmental paragraphs...

The ‘Character 1’ is now the main idea (BLACK) . Characteristic 1 (in BLUE) and Characteristic 2 (RED) are the controlling Ideas
 
FIRST Sentence-A sentence with the main idea (BLACK)  and, two controlling ideas. (ONE BLUE AND ONE RED) Gives the reader the feeling of “Afterwards the paragraph will be about this)
 
SECOND ,THIRD AND FOURTH sentences-Supporting details for first controlling idea (all in BLUE)
 
FIFTH, SIXTH and SEVENTH sentences –Supporting details for second controlling idea (all in RED)
 
EIGHTH sentence-last sentence (in BLACK) –the concluding sentence. Gives the audience the feeling of “can you recall, the paragraph was about this?”
