TECHNOLOGY USED IN THE TIME TRAVEL
MOVIE
Today,
technology is used widely in our life and i learn more about how much technology can make our lives different from the movie "In Time'. Movies like ‘Meet the Robinson’ and ‘The
Click’ tell us about how people travel through time. These two movies used
technology as their main element. Among some of the technologies used in the movies are the remote, time machine and also the watch.
The
movie ‘The Click’ uses a remote control to fast
forward and stop the time. Since the remote has a many buttons, this fantastic device
can put time on fast forward by having a
single click . With the remote, we can do our job fast. Within seconds, we can
also know what might happen to us. Hence, we can prepare what we have to do.
For example, Michael knows that his ex wife will scold him but he moved his
body to the right so that his ex wife will hitanother person. Other than that, we also can stop time. By stopping the time,Michael
can stop bad things from happening to him, and he can also save the lives of
others. Moreover, we can also save and protect people without rushing our time
and letting them know about it at all. Hence, we can be a life saver
like a superhero. So, by using the remote, it is easier for us to fast-forward
the time or stop it.
Time
machine would travel through time to either future
or past in ‘Meet the Robinson’. We can easily travel to the future whenever or wherever
we want in a short single time. Besides
that, we can know what our future would be and at the same time, we can
change it to be better than the past. So, we do not have to face any problems.
Furthermore, the time machine can also travel back to
the past . With that, we can reveal the truth about things we never knew. For
example, in the movie, Lewis agrees to help Wilbur repair the scanner if only Wilber tells the truth.Instead, Wilber
chooses to travel to the year 2037 in a
second time machine. Thus we can also change the destiny appropriately.
In conclusion, by using the machine, we can travel to the past and future by a
second.
Other
than that, the watch is also one of the technology tools that is used to travel
time in ‘clock stopped’. Although physically, the watch is small and just show the time but it can speed up and slow down
the time. With speeding up the time, we can skip
the unwanted situation and proceed to the best destiny as we planned. Then, we
can also undergo hallucination by seeing or hearing something what will happen
in a few seconds forward. In the meantime, we can change it to be in a better
way. Nevertheless, the watch can also function
as slowing down the time for us to enjoy our best moment in a long time.
Furthermore, it gives us benefits such as to finish up our homework or
assignment in a short time and save our time. Hence, with speeding up
and slowing the time, we can get a lot of benefits.
In
a nutshell, the technology used in some time travel movies such as remote control,
time machine and watch has made me understand that technology may or may not be good for us, depending on how we use them.
The disadvantage of using this technology are they affected the history of
mankind. On the other hand, the advantage of using technology is we can go
anywhere at anytime that we want to. The technologies have taught us to be
smart and think before using the technology.
